1. Post Doctoral Researchers
Interested candidates are encouraged to send an email to PI (principal investigator) with your CV, one-page research proposal, and details of two to three references. Below are a few fellowship opportunities for post-doctoral researchers:
2. Ph.D. and M.Tech. Students
Candidates who have been offered admission to Ph.D./M.Tech. programs at IISc are welcome to email PI and discuss research opportunities in the group.
3. Undergraduate Students
Candidates currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in materials engineering are encouraged to apply through the fellowship programs of JNCASR and/or Science Academies.
4. Project Assistants/Associates
We have an opening for a Project Assistant/Associate. Candidates with one or more of the following skills are encouraged to email PI with their CVs:
Irradiation effects of Materials
Mechanical behavior of materials
Materials characterization
Electron Microscopy
In-situ SEM/TEM straining and heating experiments
The support is for a year and can be extended depending on available funds and performance. The salary would be as per IISc norms.
