Syed Abdur Rahman
Syed, originally hailing from Koderma (Jhumri Telaiya), Jharkhand, was raised in Howrah/Kolkata, where he completed his schooling. He pursued his B. Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NIT Durgapur and graduated in 2022. Driven by his passion for academia and research, he joined IISc to pursue a master's degree in Materials Engineering. Syed joined our group for his master's thesis research in May 2023. He embraces the challenges ahead and is motivated to carve a successful career in this field. When he's not immersed in his academic pursuits, he indulges in his interests and hobbies. Syed is an ardent supporter of KKR/Liverpool and finds joy in writing poems, occasionally under his nom de plume, Mansha. Being a devoted admirer of the moon, he often captures its beauty through his humble phone camera. While cooking is a skill he aspires to master someday, he humbly admits that he currently falls short of expectations in the kitchen.
