I am a mathematics postdoc at the University of Manchester working in the group of Adam Stevens in the School of Medical Sciences with an honorary affiliation with the Department of Mathematics. My research revolves around algebraic topology and spans all the way from theoretical to applied. In particular I am fascinated by (co)homology theories both in their theoretical framwork and their application medicine and life sciences, as well as any other mathematical tools needed for their use.
For PhD I was at the University of Manchester as well, under supervision of Peter Symonds, with thesis titled "On the modular cohomology of a Sylow p-subgroup of SL_2(Z/p^nZ)". I also hold an MA in maths from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and an M.Sc in maths from the University of Goettingen, Germany.
I am running a mathematics account on Instagram.
Here is my CV .
Women in (Co)Homology (Conference Booklet)
A conference to celebrate the legacy of Emmy Noether who, 100 years ago in 1925, made the groundbreaking observation that gives us homology as we know it today. On the 2.-3. April at Loughborough University we featured women researchers in various areas whose work uses homological methods. Jointly organised with Baylee Schutte.
