My background is in medicine and surgery having practiced for 3 years as a medical doctor in Rwanda's public health system. I also trained as a Global Health Corps fellow hence gaining international exposure and passion for global health. My experiences across multiple public hospitals inspired me to pursue public health studies. My area of focus is Maternal-Child Health

Tennessee Emerging Infections Program (2021-2022)

-Worked as surveillance officer for Covid-19 cases

-Worked as Research assistant for flu project

-Use of Redcap and STATA


Rwanda Biomedical Centre -August 2020

-Worked in covid-19 response unit

-Screened incoming and departing passengers for Covid-19

-Collected samples for Covid-19 tests


Kibagabaga District Hospital Rwanda (Medical Doctor) 2017-2019

-Treated more than 2,000 Rwandans

-Trained over 50 nurses in surrounding health centers

-Worked in the Non-communicable an HIV Out-patient services in surrounding health centers


Global Health Corps (Medical health coordinator)

-Trained at Yale University with 200 global health enthusiasts for two weeks


Mentor Master-Card Foundation scholars (FAWE Rwanda)

-Taught sixty young girls on health awareness matters

-Did career guidance training

-Trained them financial skills i.e. saving ,investing.


SANEJO YOUTH DEVELOPMENT (Project Assistant )

-Trained ten teachers in interactive teaching methods ,communication and IT skills

-Built three classrooms with community

-Supported with logistics
