My early formative years were in Rwanda and the main focus was doing sciences with hopes of one day helping people. I pursued medicine in University. In line with continuing to help people pursuing a Masters of Public health seemed right and doing it in Vanderbilt University was the right environment to meet with experts in subjects pertaining global health.
