As a grad student at UPenn, I am pursuing my passion for robotics and mechatronics, learning from world-class faculty and researchers. I aim to apply my engineering skills to solve complex and impactful problems.
Before joining UPenn, I worked as an assistant manager at Bosch India, leading the engine management system engineering for 13 projects for TVS Motors, one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in India. I was responsible for the entire product development lifecycle, from capturing requirements and negotiating deviations to generating test cases, validating functions, and documenting and delivering the systems. I also researched and assisted in the go-to-market activities for new products across two departments.
I started my engineering journey as a system engineer and subsystem head at the Parikshit Student Satellite Team, where I led a team of 35 undergraduate students to build a nanosatellite. I designed and manufactured the reaction wheels, the deployment mechanisms, and the structural analysis of the satellite using ANSYS, Python, and CAD tools. This project taught me the importance of teamwork, leadership, and innovation in engineering.
I have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a bachelor's degree from the Manipal Institute of Technology and a master's degree in progress from UPenn. I have also acquired controller area network (CAN) skills, process improvement, and FEA. I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
