Other areas of interest include- morphology, syntax, pragmatics, honorification, copula constructions, relative clauses, reflexives, complex predicates, passives, identity studies, language and politics, language and ethnicity. Currently working on Micro and Macro Variations in Bangla: A descriptive analysis of selected linguistic phenomena.
