It is a man-made recreational park created in the 1980s from a creek to form the last lake in the Canyon Lake System. It offers an escape from West Texas heat with opportunities for kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, and picnicking, featuring trails and various amenities for visitors to enjoy the outdoors.
