Background
Anik Ribera is a second year graduate student at the University of San Diego. She is pursuing a Masters in Education while also obtaining her single subject science credential and special education credential. She graduated from the University of Saint Katherine with a Biological Sciences degree while on a softball scholarship in 2019.
She is currently a student teacher at Granger Jr. High School in a resource classroom.
Anik wanted to pursue an educational career to be able to provide a safe environment for students to learn and explore and gain knowledge in sciences. As a Latina in the STEM field she wanted to bring her experiences into the classroom to help support all students.
Anik enjoys baking delicious vegan and non-vegan desserts in her free time for her friends and family. She loves going outdoors to hike, paddle-board, and throwing around a softball with friends.
