1. Talent pool board scholarship and Prime Minister’s award (national) for securing 18^th position with 92% marks in the nationwide Higher Secondary Certificate examination in Dhaka board, Bangladesh.

2. Dean’s awards at BUET (1996-2001) for securing honours (75%) in all semesters.

3. University merit scholarship at BUET (in Talent Pool scheme).

4. Research Studentship award by the University of Southampton for Ph.D studies.

5. Fellowship awarded by the British Federation of Women Graduate (BFWG) for Ph.D studies.
