I strive to teach students to create, think critically, collaborate meaningfully and communicate effectively. This is the challenge of being a leader in 21st century education. I have had the opportunity to embrace my love of creativity, develop a growth mindset, strengthen my problem solving skills and collaborate with other leaders in Innovation. When students are given the tools to create and the guidance, trust, and most importantly freedom from their mentors, they become empowered to innovate. They demonstrate problem solving skills with enthusiasm and willingly collaborate with others. Inspiring my students to pursue their passions and become leaders in the 21st century has opened my eyes to the true impact that teachers have today.
