My Innovative Lessons

This lesson uses the Innovation of NASA, the obstacles that African American Women had to face, and Augmented Reality to help students explore the exciting moments of the space race in the 60's. 70's and 80's. For grades 2-5.

This lesson reviews the engineering design process and has students work in pairs to design and build a Valentines candy box for their teacher. Through Collaboration, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking students have a blast designing with purpose.

This lesson geared towards K-3rd grade students, creates moonshot thinking and allows kids to think critically about an invention that could be really useful for students who have to do chores. First by inspiring them to dream big, and then by giving students experience presenting their ideas on camera, this lesson is preparing students for the 21st century workplace.

This lesson, which is an add on to the Space Race lesson, helps students understand the real world problem of Space Junk and allows them to brainstorm and present their own solutions.

4th and 5th grade students decide what they are passionate about and create something that fulfills a need for someone during 4th quarter. Options included: Video Editing, Silhouette/Cricut Cutting, 3D Printing, Virtual Reality, and Coding

What do you with old CD's and DVD's that no one uses anymore? Make spinning tops and help students learn about the laws of motion and about Angular Momentum.
