For this project, I explored different types of Digital Media from Creative Commons and other sources.
This image I took with my Canon camera for my quinceañera. I like to take memorable pictures of my little special moments in life and store them as memories. It is a picture of the table decoration that the guests were going to be greeted by once they sat down during my quince. quince © 2024 by Angie Rojas is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0
For this example, I chose this GIF I found on GIPHY.com by Happy Motion. I downloaded this animation and uploaded it to my website.
I was not able to find anymore information about the sharing limitations as well as the license information, therefore I will give credit to Happy Motion

chose this audio sample because it reminds me of the camping trips me and my family go on. I love to hear the nature, especially at night when its dark and everything is so quiet and peaceful. For this audio sample, I searched for an audio sample and thought this one was perfect, I copied the embedding code and inserted it. This audio is under a CC BY 4.0 license. What does this mean? Everyone is able to:
Share - redistribute and copy the work in any format
Adapt - you are able to change it (remix), as well as build.
Attribution - Required to give credit, provide a link to license, and also be clear about any changes that were made to the work.

The video is about artificial intelligence and how it connects the digital and physical worlds. It shows how the lines between both have become blurred through technology.
I embedded this from YouTube, which offered embed code, but there was no usage policy or licensing information.
According to the about page for YouTube:
Videos may be used for non-commercial and educational purposes under the Standard YouTube License, as long as they are not downloaded, changed, or shared outside of YouTube.
In this lesson, I learned about different types of media and what the different licenses mean. I tend to not think about stuff like this. I also learned what the different CC's mean and how to use Creative Commons in order to choose and figure out which CC is needed.
