The Uca Ventus Pumilus are installed in three different groups as separate pieces, each with their own unique sound recorded separately, and when installed in close proximity, it would seem like they communicate with each other.
"The Uca Ventus Pumilus or more commonly known as pygmy wind mangrove grows in distinctive groups, categorized as Trio, Quintet, Chorus. As a subspecies of the Uca Ventus Harmonicae it can also make harmonic sounds when blown by wind."
