My practice centers on the interplay between sculptural installations and environmental sound, where space, material, and auditory experience converge to create immersive encounters. I am fascinated by how these elements can forge connections, not only between the viewer and the work but also among spectators themselves, transforming passive observation into collective participation. Whether through the subtle resonance of natural phenomena or deliberate sonic interventions, I seek to heighten awareness of our embodied presence within a shared environment.
While this dialogue between sculpture and sound forms the core of my current work, my process remains fluid and exploratory. I embrace diverse mediums, from using found objects to performance, allowing each project to dictate its own formal language. My background as a musician deeply informs this approach: rhythm, harmony, and dissonance reverberate not just in the auditory layers of my pieces but also in their visual and spatial composition. This multidisciplinary perspective enables me to dissect and reassemble the familiar, inviting viewers to listen with their eyes and see with their ears.
At its heart, my work is about presence and perception. By destabilizing boundaries between disciplines and senses, I aim to create moments of unexpected kinship, where the act of witnessing becomes an active, reverberant exchange.
