GOOGLE UX DESIGN CERTIFICATION EXPERIENCE
GOOGLE UX DESIGN CERTIFICATION EXPERIENCE
I created a floral arrangement preview app and webpage as my project for the Google UX certification program, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was enlightening and helped me discover new skills and enhance my creativity, especially in design using Figma. Overall, this project had a positive impact on my personal and professional growth.
I had the exhilarating experience of designing my first app and website, using Figma for the first time. Through my participation in the UX certification program, It opened my eyes to the need to design for accessibility, considering the needs of all users, and to prioritize a user-centered design approach. I gained valuable insights into how to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also inclusive and accessible to all.
I created a comprehensive case study for SimplyMade, it included all the UX research I conducted for the app. This study also featured the wireframes, low and high-fidelity flow prototypes that I designed for the app. The case study demonstrated my attention to detail and my ability to create a cohesive user experience that met the needs of users. Through my work on SimplyMade, I was able to showcase my UX design skills, as well as my ability to research and analyze user needs, and create effective design solutions that met those needs.
As part of my UX design certification project, I developed an app and website with the aim of promoting social good. The project focuses on raising awareness for the snow leopards, and includes features such as information about the species, ways to get involved and support conservation efforts, and a platform for users to share their own experiences and stories. Through this project, I was able to apply my design and development skills towards a meaningful cause and promote positive change in the world.
This project was particularly meaningful to me because it was focused on social good and had a clear mission to support the conservation of a vulnerable species.
Compared to my first project, the difference in design was significant. I had the chance to incorporate more advanced features, including better visualizations and interactive elements that could engage users more effectively. I also worked on improving the app's performance and usability, making it easier for people to donate, learn about the snow leopard's habitat, and get involved in conservation efforts.
Overall, I was very happy to have the opportunity to work on this project, and it reminded me of the importance of using my skills and expertise to contribute to causes that matter. I hope that my work on the Save the Snow Leopard app can help raise awareness and support for this amazing animal and its ecosystem.
