I get many questions about the Angel Gown process. First, let me be very clear all the gowns that have been donated are used solely for the purpose of this non-profit Angel Gowns group. They are safely stored in my home until time to be repurposed. Creating Angel Gowns is a slow process, and that is a blessing because in reality that means that most babies are making it to full term and living here on Earth. Since every wedding gown yields 12-14 Angel Gowns, the math will show how many babies have to pass away for each gown to be used. We are blessed to have many wedding dress donations at this time! But, with only one active, AMAZING, seamstress creating these individual masterpieces, the overall production is slow. We would love to have the capability to provide Angel Gowns to every NICU, Funeral Home, and Midwife in and around San Antonio. Currently, we provide gowns to The Birthplace and University Hospital NICU. As well as individuals when called upon. When a gown is donated, photos are posted with the Bride's name, and then again when the gown is turned into Angel Gowns. I try to do before and afters of each Donation. PLEASE NOTE: As I state to every Bride I meet or have a conversation with - the process could take YEARS before your gown is converted, this is not a fast process and we are blessed that it isn't.

On the subject of communication: I do not respond to Facebook Messenger. My cell number is available on the site and I do respond to text messages as quickly as possible. My job is a no cell zone and I work 50+ hours a week and also have a family. I created Angel Gowns of San Antonio Texas out of true agape love for others like myself who have lost a baby. I will continue Angel Gowns of San Antonio Texas until my last breath and look forward to retirement in a couple of years so my days can be spent contacting facilities who have a need and provide Angel Gowns. Once again THANK YOU for your support of Angel Gowns of San Antonio Texas.
