Trina Rios is a Nationally Certified Counselor, who is an United States Army veteran and has worked an entire life of service to others. She is always willing to aid in the success and promotion of others and is confident that it is her God-ordained destiny to do so. She has worked diligently to help people to reach their ultimate potential. She is a family woman who loves God, her family and all people. She is an ordained minister who believes in the goodness of all that life has to offer.
Trina Rios, received her BA in Psychology from Ashford University and received her MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Trina specializes in working with children and adolescents, individuals, couples and families, using an eclectic client-centered, approach which includes cognitive behavioral therapy.
Trina’s background includes: volunteer counseling providing guidance for 7 years, working with couples, families and individuals from a Biblical Perspective, dealing with a wide variety of issues. She has been professionally practicing since 2012, doing home-based therapy, working with out-patient clients, working in a local school district with children of all ages, as well as incarcerated youth and youth in residential placement.
Trina's motto in life is that "Changed Minds, Change Destinies". She is a strong believer in the ability of all to change their station in life, by them changing the way they think about and respond to what life presents to them. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." The reason for this is that she knows that God has a plan for all to be successful.
