My teaching aims to provide students with a strong foundation in the economics of education while emphasizing its broader relevance for educational leadership, system improvement, and policy design. Grounded in a student-centered approach, I view teaching as an intellectual exchange that encourages critical thinking, applied problem-solving, and active engagement with real leadership challenges. I have honed my instructional practice through three years of full-time service with Teach For China and through teaching assistantships at Vanderbilt University, experiences that have strengthened my ability to connect research-based concepts with the practical work of leading schools and districts.
