Reproducing graphics from a bygone era or creating graphics for things that don't exist are my favorite graphic design projects! I especially like researching and creating railroad dining car menus. Here are a select few:
Sugar Express Dining Car Menu
A prototype menu for a brunch train on the Sugar Express in Clewiston, FL (https://sugarexpress.com/).
The Magnus Archives (Now on 20 Audio Cassettes!)
Cover art and tape inserts for the acclaimed horror podcast The Magnus Archives, if it were released on cassette tape (with wonderful cover art originally by artist cocoabats, https://cocoabats.tumblr.com/).
Southern Crescent Dinner Menu
A dinner menu for the Southern Railway's name-train the Southern Crescent that could've appeared sometime during the the 1970s. The menu was populated with some items that appeared on Southern's menu as researched in James Porterfield's Dining By Rail.
