I currently serve as a Peer Advisor in the Office of Advising at Hunter College, where I provide one-on-one student support and offer tailored academic guidance. With over three years of experience in higher education and student services, I am dedicated to helping students across New York City navigate college successfully and reach their academic goals.
Previously, I served as a Peer Fellow in Hunter College’s Peer Leader Program—a leadership role supporting first-year and transfer students. In this position, I mentored new Peer Leaders, led training sessions, and facilitated events such as New Student Orientation. I also designed and hosted workshops on topics including financial aid (FAFSA), academic advising, wellness resources, and course registration. This role sharpened my public speaking, mentorship, and event coordination skills, while allowing me to make a lasting impact on student retention and engagement.
As an Orientation Leader at Hunter College, I guided campus tours and led orientation sessions for incoming students and their families. I provided critical information about academic expectations, campus life, and student resources, helping new students feel welcomed, prepared, and connected from day one.
I also worked at LaGuardia Community College as a Peer Health Intern, where I supported front desk operations and helped students meet immunization requirements, while promoting awareness of campus health services and protocols.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Anthropology and a Business Certificate from Hunter College, and I’m currently pursuing an MBA at Western Governors University, with an expected graduation in 2028. I bring strong communication and program facilitation skills, as well as technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, CUNYfirst, and DegreeWorks. I am passionate about building inclusive student support programs that foster academic achievement and belonging.
