Teaching

My passion lies in higher education, engaging my students in mathematics, and collaborating with my colleagues. I consider myself fortunate that I always had fantastic secondary high school teacher and I still draw inspiration from them today.

I am particularly interested in engaging students in active learning collaboration, and community building. My motivation is two-fold; the research is clear, students reach learning objective more frequently when working hands on with course material. Additionally, it gives me an opportunity to interact and get to know my students.

Coupled with this I am a proponent of open educational resources (OER). On the link page you can find a growing collection of resources that I have found valuable or have created.
