I am a senior Mechanical Engineering student at Colorado State University. I expecting to graduate in may 2019 and am looking to start an exciting career as an engineer for a great company that will challenge me and further increase my learning of engineering systems.

I decided to pursue mechanical engineering as I was beginning college after talking with a mentor in my life about what he has done and how it has been a benefit to his life. I have found it to be a very enjoyable and so far fulfilling path for me. I have had the opportunity to work on various projects during my time at Colorado State University. Many of these projects have been class projects but I have also been involved in extracurricular projects such as the NASA Space Grant Consortium.

Additionally I have had internship opportunities at Lockheed Martin, and Wolf Robotics. At Lockheed Martin I worked as a manufacturing support engineer, maintaining and improving manufacturing processes for the THAAD defense missile. Wolf robotics is a manufacturer of custom robotic systems focusing on welding procedures. At Wolf Robotics I started as an assembly tech intern, doing hands on building, then moving into the applications engineering department, and currently work in the mechanical engineering department. As part of the applications group I created concepts of the robotic welding systems for customers. In addition to the concept I also used the software to perform studies to determine robots would be physically able to reach the entirety of the part and that the application was appropriate. On the mechanical engineering team I have been learning industry skills and standards while helping the full time engineers. Some responsibilities include making detailed drawings for parts, assemblies, and weldments meeting uniform company standards and including some GD&T. The main programs used have been SolidWorks, PDM, Robot Studio, and Encompix ordering software. I have also gained 2 SolidWorks certifications and am working towards more as I continue to develop my skills.

The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate the projects I have worked on in all aspects of my life and detail out the skills I have gained through my education and internship opportunities.
