Hi, I'm
Dr. Andrew Devendorf
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Health Systems Research (HSR) postdoctoral fellow at the Seattle Puget Sound VA Healthcare System.
I'm a psychologist who provides services in research, therapy, public speaking, and mental health consulting. If you get to know me, you'll learn I'm extremely passionate about reducing mental health stigma and helping people learn skills to manage and recover from psychological disorders. I embrace whole-health frameworks that view mental health on a continuum and recognize that well-being, social functioning, and personal identity are key components of the human experience.
I welcome you to click through my website to read about some of my work. I've co-authored over 25 scientific articles, and my freelance writing has appeared in outlets like the HuffPost, the Conversation, Psyche Magazine, the Mighty, the Science Breaker, APS Observer, and others.
Please feel free to out for public speaking events, interviews, podcasts, research consulting, mental health advocacy, and other ways to collaborate!
Featured as a USF Boundless Bull for my commitment to mental health advocacy, I'm proud to leverage my lived experience to fight stigma.
