Photojournalism
The majority of my journalism experience has been spent as a writer/reporter, working with photographers to contribute to the story, but I have branched out to photography at times when necessary for the publication. I have frequently collaborated with photographers on stories and photo gallery pages for The Chronicle.
A photo of state champion tennis duo Pratyusha Chaudhari and Emma Wagner. This photo was taken for another writer's story and used on the cover of The Chronicle's November 2023 edition.
Photo coverage of the 2022 OHSAA Cross Country State Championship races in Obetz, Ohio. The Mason High School boys and girls teams both took home state titles. I was at the event reporting, including getting videos of the races to use for MBC and getting photos of the trophy ceremony that were posted on Mason Sports Radio's Instagram and in The Chronicle.
Copy of MHS20.pdfI collaborated with sports photographer Lily Haller to compile a photo feature on Mason High School's football team's playoff run in fall 2023. I worked with Lily to select the photos for the story, and wrote the cutlines. This page was published in the November 2023 editon of The Chronicle.
