I am a finance academic and investment professional with a strong focus on commodities markets, asset pricing, market efficiency, and the application of machine learning in finance. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Finance, where my research explores the financialisation of non-ferrous metals markets, examining how speculative activity, risk transmission, and market structure influence prices and volatility. My broader interests lie at the intersection of commodities, investor behaviour, and advanced empirical methods, including machine learning and econometric modelling.
Alongside my academic work, I have practical experience in asset management, having worked as an Investment Analyst at a multi-asset manager. In this role, I focused on fund selection, portfolio construction, tactical asset allocation, and risk analysis across local and global markets. I have led research on fund-of-funds and model portfolios, developed proprietary investment tools, and delivered client-facing insights grounded in both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
I currently lecture in Investment Management and Financial Modelling, supervise postgraduate research, and enjoy bridging theory with real-world financial decision-making. I hold a Master’s in Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting, and have passed CFA Level I.
