Principal investigators: Jeff Lundeen (uOttawa) & Benjamin Sussman (NRC)
Created a deep symmetric ResNet autoencoder to perform holography image reconstruction from noisy, randomly phase-modulated, few-shot (~1000 photons) frames. Outperforms state-of-the-art Singular Value Decomposition algorithms.
Ultrafast switching of single-photon polarization at telecom wavelengths; probing materials with quantum light using two-photon interference.
NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2020 - 2022)
Department of Chemistry, Cambridge, MA, United States
Principal investigator: Moungi Bawendi
Designed deep ensemble neural networks and neural ordinary differential equation models to perform signal reconstruction and time-series forecasting in single molecule spectroscopy experiments.
Discovered the narrowest-ever reported emission linewidths (~5 μeV) of colloidal quantum dots using interferometric photon correlation spectroscopy with InP/ZnSe/ZnS and CsPbBr3 materials.
Postdoctoral Researcher – University of Toronto (2019 - 2020)
The Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Toronto, ON, Canada
Principal investigator: Edward Sargent
Discovered ultrafast (~100 fs) exciton transfer between 2D perovskite quantum wells using nonlinear transient absorption spectroscopies, and subpicosecond electron transfer to organic ligands
Synthesized new organic cation ligands to increase efficiency (20%+ power conversion efficiency) and stability of perovskite photovoltaic devices
CIFAR Bioinspired Solar Energy Program Member (2016 - 2019)
