Since 2015 I'm an associate professor of mathematics at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Previously, from 2010 to 2015, I was an adjoint professor of mathematics at the Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL). From 2008 to 2010, I was a teacher of mathematics at CEFET-RJ in Nova Friburgo.

I received my PhD at IMPA under the supervision of Karl-Otto Stöhr. 

My research interests lie in:

•  Algebraic Geometry: Deformations of Curves and of Singularities, Moduli Spaces, Weierstrass Points, Canonical Curves, Linear Systems on Curves. Rational surfaces in the projective space of dimension four. Schubert Calculus and Flag Varieties.

• Representation Theory: Vertex Operators on Exterior Algebras, Representation of Lie Algebras of Matrices and their applications to Algebraic Geometry, especially to Grassmann bundles and Hilbert schemes of points on surfaces.
