Founded in August 2024, André Averion founded a monthly digital publication dedicated to telling the history and stories of the DFW Filipino-American community. Focused on telling the most relevant news with transparency and integrity, the goal of DFW Bayanihan Times is to foster communication and engagement across a separated community.
In supporting the Pilipino America Community Endeavor (PACE) nonprofit, aimed at developing a sustainable Filipino Community Center in DFW, André Averion currently serves as the communication manager and web manager of PACE, as well as a newsletter editor for the PACE Bayanihan Newsletter.

Directing all outreach and distribution incentives for the publication, André Averion coordinated community engagement, public relations, audience growth, analytics, logistics management, inventory control, delivery scheduling, quality control, live events, physical distribution, partnership development, trainings, customer service, supervised both website and social media productions, and supervised breaking news media distribution and development.

Providing crisis support and suicide intervention early mornings and late nights, André Averion supported hundreds of individuals in need in North America. His role required him to provide nationally recognized methods of live support, providing validated resources, coordinate with emergency services, and confidential assessments and reports.
Representing Future Health Professionals (HOSA) for North Texas, André Averion was one of five high school students tasked with preparing fall and spring conventions for thousands of attending students and competitors. His specific duty was facilitating communications across local chapters, managing social media, publishing newsletters, and speaking live on stage at conferences to direct students, teachers, and advisors.
