Report Writing Training

Facilitator Guide

Project Scope

My Role: Course Designer and FacilitatorTime in Development: 60 hoursTools: Microsoft Word and Crystal Reports Software

Client:
Software Company (Confidential)

Problem:
There was a lack of trainers and we needed someone new to train on the Third Party Reporting software. The course was scheduled for every 2-3 months and we needed to get someone up to speed well enough to still facilitate the course.

Solution:
Created a facilitator guide to help the new trainer get acclimated with the material enough to be able to teach the class with the guide. Used a combination of the class user manual and previous trainer notes.

Course Duration:
5 full days - 6 hours of instruction for 4 days. - Day 5 is a dedicated Lab day

Target Audience (of the facilitator guide):
Trainers well versed in the company software but not in the Reports software.

Objective:
Provide the facilitator with a guide to teach the course.
