I’m Andrea Martinez Angulo, an Honors Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering student at Kennesaw State University graduating in May 2027. My technical interests include industrial automation, controls, robotics, manufacturing, embedded systems, and multidisciplinary engineering applications.

Throughout my undergraduate experience, I’ve built a broad technical foundation through coursework, research, personal projects, and industry experience. My work has included PLC and HMI programming, embedded systems, robot simulation, LiDAR and computer vision, digital twins, CAD and prototyping, safety assessments, commissioning activities, and controls verification.

My internship with The Clorox Company gave me the opportunity to apply that background in an active manufacturing environment while supporting the commissioning of a robotic palletizing system and working alongside engineers, contractors, vendors, operators, safety personnel, and plant leadership. That experience strengthened my interest in industrial and manufacturing environments where automation, controls, robotics, and real-world operations intersect.

As I approach graduation, I’m looking for full-time engineering opportunities that allow me to continue developing across these areas while building deeper technical expertise. I’m especially interested in roles where I can combine hands-on problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and multidisciplinary engineering to support real systems from design and testing through implementation and operation.
