Andrea Bocchino

I am a 3rd year PhD Research Scholar at the Department of Economics in the Norwegian School of Economics affiliated to FAIR research institute.  I am supervised by Katrine V. Løken.

My research is in the fields of Labor Economics, in particular Education and Crime Economics.  

I previously worked as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at FAIR(Norwegian School of Economics), Scientific Trainee at Joint Research Centre (European Commission) and Research Assistant at the Bank of Italy.

I hold a Joint Degree M.Sc. in Economics from the Bocconi University and Université catholique de Louvain , a B.Sc. in Economics from Bocconi University.  

I will be visiting Northwestern University in the 2026/2027 academic year.
