The priest at my hometown church loves this hymn, to the point that Sunday liturgies following Easter are noticably longer because he'll sing it over and over. You probably don't have to be that zealous with it.
Troparia are often used as refrains by the congregation as the priest reads or chants prayers like verses. I couldn't find a good recording of this unfortunately. However, O Virgin Pure can give you a pretty decent approximation. Orthodox Christians also like doing things like this in sets of three, so you can do that too. Might even behoove you to alternate the language between repeats.
Χριστὸς ἀνέστη ἐκ νεκρῶν,
θανάτῳ θάνατον πατήσας,
καὶ τοῖς ἐν τοῖς μνήμασι,
ζωὴν χαρισάμενος!
Christ is risen from the dead,
by death trampling death,
and to those in the tombs
granting life!
