Anatomy For Change was founded by two previous UW students in 2022 to empower students to feel a sense of belonging to the healthcare environment as future providers. Thanks to the Willed Body Program, we began with a single workshop in the cadaver lab and have since expanded to hosting regular events. This project helps meet the goal of the University of Washington, which is to retain and graduate a diverse student body by producing students who are confident and capable as they pursue their degrees and prospective careers.Â

We've organized multiple events serving close to 100 disadvantaged pre-health students.
Our volunteer program has grown to include many undergraduate and UW medical students.
