A Brief History:
A Brief History:
Given that healthcare professions are historically not diverse, Anatomy For Change was founded by two previous UW students in 2022 to empower minority students to feel a sense of belonging the healthcare environment as future providers. Thanks to the Willed Body Program, we began with a single workshop in the cadaver lab and have since expanded to hosting regular events. This project helps meet the goal for the University of Washington to retain and graduate a diverse student body by producing students who are confident and capable as they pursue their degrees and prospective careers.Â
