Kidneys and Urinary System

• Relate the microanatomy of the nephron and its related blood flow to the gross anatomy of the kidney, including the structural relationship between the glomerulus and glomerular capsule that forms the filtration membrane and the cellular elements of the juxtaglomerular apparatus.

• Describe the processes occurring throughout the nephron to filter blood and create urine.
