Many of them are written in a call-and-response structure, which encourages the children to really engage with the music and learn new things in a playful way. This was a fantastic way to teach counting to 1st graders! Mimicking and repetition accelerated their learning process. The students request it every lesson, so we always start with this as a warm up!
