Methodologies
In my research I use various quantitative offline and online psycholinguistic methods in production and comprehension in both visual and auditory modality, which are appropriate for adults, such as scaled acceptability judgement tasks, forced-choice tasks, self-paced reading, and speeded grammaticality judgement, as well as for children, such as self-paced listening, picture naming, sentence-picture matching, elicited narration, and story-(re)telling.
I also employ qualitative methods to better understand my testing sample and their sociolinguistic profile. In this way, I create and dynamically use the corresponding personas in order to shed more light into the meaning of certain (psycho)linguistic and sociolinguistic practices bilinguals use, such as code-switching. For this reason, I also employ interviews, (silent) observation, experience maps and story-boards.
I conduct both onsite and remote data collection.
