Linguistic phenomena

My research mainly focuses on morphosyntax and its interfaces with semantics and pragmatics:

• Transitivity alternations and voice morphology: the interaction between voice morphology (Active/Non-active) and verb classes

• Gender: gender assignment, gender agreement, gender in linguistic illusions (gender agreement attraction), gender assignment in bilingual code-mixing

• Number: semantic vs formal agreement, number in linguistic illusions (number agreement attraction)

• Grammatical aspect: aspect in the bilingual grammar

• Filler-gap dependencies: wh-movement in object-relative clauses, syntactic traces in L1 and L2
