-Ananya Ananth
Hi! My name is Ananya Ananth and I am a Women's FIDE Master (WFM) playing chess for the past 11 years. I aim to create a welcoming community for children and pre-teens to enjoy and learn chess in a casual setting. Children who come to this club will not only learn how to play chess, but also create meaningful connections with others and improve key characteristics of themselves such as focus, discipline, and fuel their competitive nature.
Any skill level is welcome -- from beginner to advanced!
We will provide chess pieces and boards so just come ready to play chess!
For those who are further interested in learning and playing chess online, I have partnered up with ChessKid. ChessKid is the world's #1 trusted online chess website for kids, where you can solve chess puzzles, complete lessons, and play chess with other kids around the globe. Everyone is eligible for a free basic ChessKid membership to play and learn chess online on ChessKid.
