About Me

 Hi! My name is Ananya and I am currently a senior in high school, attending Freedom High School in South Riding, Virginia, and Academies of Loudoun in Leesburg, Virginia. Chess has been apart of my life for the past 11 years and I am so excited to lead this chess club at Gum Spring Library. I am a chess expert and Women's FIDE Master, eager to share my love for chess and create a tight knit community for everyone.

• 2022 North American Youth Chess Championships - Gold Medalist in U14 Girls 

• 2022 All Girls National Chess Championships Co-Champion U14 

• 2023 Virginia State Chess Championships K-8 - 4th place

• 2023 North American Youth Chess Championships - 4th place in U18 Girls 

• 2021 North American Youth Chess Championships - 4th place in U14 Girls

• Representative of the United States Chess Team in 2019 for the World Cadet Chess Championships Girls U10 in Weifang, China

• Representative of the United States Chess Team in 2022 for the World Youth Chess Championships Girls U14 in Constanta, Romania

• Representative of the United States Chess Team in 2026 for the World Youth Chess Championships Girls U18 in Montesilvano, Italy
