When assessing wearable fitness trackers in an educational application frame, it was interesting to see a comparison of different competitors and which one is a good fit. I enjoyed the process of assessing them and brainstorming potential applications people may want to see in order to decide whether to support such a venture in the classroom. When going through this, I think I have determined that, while this tech is new and nothing, as it comes with a higher price tag, as tech improves, things like wearable tech will become more accessible and more readily available for general consumers and in educational settings. I do believe that applying learning to data from fitness trackers may help learning in AP health and fitness courses by providing an application of what is being learned in class.
