In this section, we will dive deeper and perform analysis on the applications available on the Google play store on the basis of installations, android versions etc. from the audience's point of view.
The success of Google play store is not unknown to the world.
It has noticed a hike of 16.4% from 2016 to 2018 with total amount of installation to be around 40 billion.
It started from 2008 and has grown exponentially with around 3,257,900 applications available free of cost.

This graph depicts the total number of installations per year.
It can be seen that the number of installations have gradually increased during the years from 2010 to 2018.
It can also be inferred by the graph that as the years have passed, people have become more tech-savvy.
The have started using the mobile phones more as compared to what it was earlier.
The graph shows the number of installations for different Android versions.
Since 2008 there were "n" number of android version launched.
4.1 and up till 5.0 was the android version that had most number of installations (30,722,431,989).
The release of android version 4.1 and up till 5 added poise and polish into the operating system and went a long way in making Android more inviting for the average user.
It can be inferred that every technology requires bug fixation and trust to survive in the market. Success to technology comes with time, but time does not guarantee it to be constant as seen in the graph. Android versions launched at the start, for example 2.1 etc have minimal number of installations. As we move forward, it can be seen that number of installations have gradually increased for some time, but again it cannot be constant if the company is not up to the market requirement or unable to resolve the bugs. Thus, a slight decline can be seen in the android version 5.0 and up.
The graph depicts the various categories of the applications installed from Google play store.
The visualisation also follows the current situation of the world. The maximum number of installations in the year 2010 were the apps containing content relevant to people of age 25 and above.
With the younger generation being more inclined towards technology over time, there were more installations of the apps containing content pertinent to their age.
In 2018, people of age 18 to 20 were the ones who had approximately 300,000 installations of different categories of applications.
The graph clearly shows the trend of installations as per the content of Google play store applications from 2010 to 2018. The installations for the application containing younger content shows that younger generation spend more time on mobile phones than the older generation.
This graph is about the number of apps available for different categories of the content depending on the age.

However, number of applications available does not mean that it is more rewarded.
This graph is about the number of apps installed having different category of the content depending on the age.
According to the graph, applications having content relevant for people of age 25 or more, are the most installed.
However, the best way to analyse the statistics would be studying the effective applications of the Google play store by deriving data from both the above graphs and combining into one.
This graph is about the effective number of applications belonging to the different categories of the content depending on the age on Google play store.
The effectiveness of the applications on the Google play store can be calculated by having a ratio between the number of applications installed and the number of applications used.
From the graph, it can be seen that the applications with content for younger generation are the most that are used.
