The first episode of our actual play FR on Youtube (@thewerestoryteller)
My current project is an actual play campaign, both on Alchemy (https://app.alchemyrpg.com/) and Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/bulledepalaven)
The campaign, called "Le Grand Testament" takes place in Paris, 2020. The kindred of the Camarilla are slowly coming back to the old city, years after the Second Inquisition hit them so hard. Things seem to go pretty well so far, but everybody is on edge. Every human could be a hunter. Every big dog could be a werewolf. Every cainite could be a rival. Nevertheless, never forget who is your greatest enemy: the Beast. The one who lives inside you. You are the monster under the bed. You can pretend otherwise... The Hunger never faint, and the Beast never leaves.
The campaign began on 30th of May 2025. We meet each other to play about once a month during weekends.
Bulle is Scapin, a Ventrue ; Jade is Ophélie, a Nosferatu ; Marcus is Nestor, a Tremere ; and Gwen is Mattia, a Brujah.
L'Étreinte is the first volume of the “Journal d’une âme damnée” (Diary of a damned soul) series I’m currently working on. It takes place in the 5th edition of Vampire the Masquerade.
When she was still a child, Edith came close to be murdered in the forest by her own grandfather. An unexpected black panther emerged from the darkness to save the little girl before vanishing. Years later, the now young woman, freshly graduated, meets a strange, fascinating dark-haired man in the same wood: Henryk. Henryk wants to take her as an “apprentice”. He would teach her to speak with animals and protects her from Ethan, the mysterious businessman who just appeared in her life to "hire" her. Edith accepts, thinking it can’t be true, can it be? Soon after, she finally dies, this time to become a vampire, more especially an Anarch Gangrel. Childe of Henryk. Rival of her Ventrue sister, Johanna, childe of Ethan. Edith is already familiar with the Beast, the inner darkness of every Damned. She knows the taste of blood, the coldness of betrayal, the tingling sensation of madness. The other newborns also have their burdens, fears, desires. While she’s happily building her chosen family, she has to watch her back. Old ones, young ones, unknown ones, far too many cainites would love to take her unlife. Or is it something else they’re after? Her secrets? Her freedom? Her blood? Her soul?...
L'Étreinte is a story about growing, both as an abused child and a newborn vampire. It shows the numerous struggles one can face after years of toxic relationships, even as a mortal. A hunter for humans, a prey for elders. Can a monster survive without losing their humanity?
I began to work on L’Etreinte in 2023. The prologue was written in April 2024. Soon after, I recruited seven sensitivity readers to provide feedback regarding the issues of representation. As an example, is this black woman character well written? Is this relationship between two lesbians a realistic one? The novel is about 50 % over (06/11/2024).
ARISEN is an interactive visual novel in which you use tarot cards based on emotions to make choices. The story takes place in Maccialatt, an island mostly inspired by antic Persia. Your character may develop love, friendship or hate toward the 6 main characters. Sometimes you will have to face the consequences of your decisions. Depending on your choices, you will discover different aspects of the same story.
From a war prisoner to a free citizen, what kind of person are you? When you have power, what will you do with it?
I was in charge of all the game writing (more than 400k words, character creation, world-building), narrative design and the majority of the game design (quest system, card system, etc.)

28 shapeshifters, raised in a secret laboratory, success to escape from the complex. They know nothing about who they are and what are they going to do, but they are sure of one thing: a vampire is responsible for their fate. The same vampire who organized their flight...
The group of young people is taken in by the local werewolves. Get of Fenris, Children of Gaia, Glass Walkers will assess these unknown shapeshifters, hesitating between two options: kill them, to be sure they are not ennemies, or to rise them as other protectors of Mother Earth. In the end, the youngsters prove to everybody how worthy they are, and even become famous.
Now the Nation waits for the party to accomplish great things. They are not born by coincidence, the werewolves believe, they have a destiny: save the tribes from the Wyrm, the old enemy.
Such duties can be a burden sometimes... They can't afford to make a mistake... And the Apocalypse is imminent.
This campaign takes place in Var'Nagal, as I created the world especially for my players, while using the Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 rules.
The story begins as usual in this kind of campaign with a group of diverse people - with no orphan, which is very uncommon for a DnD party - who are looking for glory, wealth or vengeance.
Year after year, the quests, lore, characters go deeper and richer as I was gaining experience and confidence. They wanted to save the world from the bad guys so I gave them what they wanted. Maybe not exactly the way they expected, but it was a funny, intense experience.
Three stars alternately illuminate, in an eternal dance, the strange world of Daygön. It is only during the Dead Season, those endless months of darkness and despair, that they deprive the living of their blessings. Infants who are born then usually die, but a few of them become Void Children. Treated as gods, outcasts, tools, they fascinate some and disgust others. The Void Child called Orion decides to leave his home after a dream: he saw a Master Mask, a member of the Stateless clan, pushing him to take his destiny in hand. Stateless persons, like the Void Children, are subject to all legends: this mysterious sect, dressed in black with white masks, does not answer to any king, does not claim any land and does not seem to hold any precious property. He who was looking for meaning in his life will meet the most controversial of mentors: a warrior from the burning dunes of Naresy whose violence is matched only by her cynicism. She will take him with her and bring him around the world, her protege, her slave, her friend, her experiment, in search of the evil blight that the Founder, protector of the Stateless, fights in secret.
I have chosen to cancel the project. Why?
The system of stars, seasons seemed pretty good to me when I created it, but I realized it was very weird to most readers, so it was difficult to feel immersed in the story. My characters are not diverse enough. I made a lot of mistakes while I was writing this first volume, moreover I don’t think I was wise enough to treat some subjects correctly (sexism, racism, etc.) I decided to use some things I prepared for Daygön in Var’Nagal, but most of my work is not compatible with it.
