Global Project 

Description

For this project my partner and I were assigned to investigate the global technology landscape in two non-U.S. locations. My partner chose london and I decided to research Jamaica due to my curiosity on how a small island nation like Jamaica is utilizing its technology resources and the extent of governmental control over technology

Jamaica has implemented several technological advancements to enhance its economy and society. Technology is also being used in smart agriculture, healthcare, and tourism to improve efficiency and reduce bureaucratic hurdles. While Jamaica and London differ in scale and technological maturity, both locations showcase efforts to leverage technology for development. Jamaica's focus on digital inclusion and innovation aligns with London's position as a global tech hub, illustrating the diverse ways in which technology contributes to societal progress in distinct contexts.
