📖 English Version (Original Story)
The sky looked different that morning, like it was waiting for something to begin.
Amira tightened the light-blue hijab her mother gave her on her first day of school in a new country. Everything felt unfamiliar — the buildings, the language, even the smell of the air.
At school, her class was working on a project about “Where We Come From.”
Some kids brought photos, others brought toys or flags.
Amira only brought a tiny stone from her old home in Morocco. It was smooth, warm, and shaped like a little drop of water.
During recess, a girl named Ana approached her.
“Hi! I like your stone,” she said with a smile.
Amira hesitated, but answered softly, “It reminds me of home.”
Ana sat next to her.
“Here, everything feels new, right?” she asked.
Amira nodded.
Then Ana said the random-dialogue line from the generator:
“Maybe the answers are not far away — maybe they are inside you.”
For the first time that day, Amira felt her chest loosen.
Maybe she didn’t need to choose between old home and new home.
Maybe both could fit inside her, like two colors in the same sky.
When the bell rang, she looked up.
The sky no longer looked different — it looked full of possibilities.
