It is a powerful reminder of the historical struggles against racism and the need to build a society where every person is respected and valued.

For me, this film illustrates why diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential in every environment. It shows what happens when people are excluded and treated as less human. Although slavery belongs to the past, discrimination and exclusion can still happen today in workplaces, schools, or daily life. Personally, I believe in treating everyone with respect, regardless of their background, culture, or identity. Learning about stories like Solomon Northup’s makes me more aware of the importance of fairness and motivates me to contribute to inclusive spaces where no one feels invisible.

Para mí, esta película ilustra por qué la diversidad, la equidad y la inclusión son esenciales en todo entorno. Muestra lo que ocurre cuando las personas son excluidas y tratadas como menos humanas. Aunque la esclavitud pertenece al pasado, la discriminación y la exclusión todavía pueden ocurrir hoy en lugares de trabajo, escuelas o en la vida diaria.
