Network protocols are useful in configuring and troubleshooting a network, as they determine how devices communicate.
For example, the Internet protocol (IP) is among the most crucial of the protocols, as it sets up how data is transmitted in networks. IPV4 is the protocol that’s most used, however as the IPV4 addresses have been taken up as countries with large populations became connected to the Internet, the industry is moving towards using IPV6. The IPV6 protocol is practically an upgraded version of the IPV4 protocol, as it has a larger IP address pool, removes the need for Natural Address Translation (NAT, the consolidation of multiple private local addresses into one public address), and other benefits. Knowledge of this protocol and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is useful when configuring and troubleshooting networks.
Everything You Upload to Internet Stays Forever (Your Big Data) and Privacy
This is an essay I wrote as an assignment for my senior year high school Cybersecurity Course taking Cyberops in Cisco Network Academy in 2021 or 2022 before I knew of LLMs, Big Data is used to train the LLMs like ChatGPT
