I worked in the Digital Camera & Computer Vision Laboratory under Professor Chiou-Shann Fuh between June 25- August 1 2025 as part of National Taiwan University's Plus Academy Summer+ Research & Culture 6 week program. These are the projects I was assigned to work on.
Worked with Professor Chiou-Shann Fuh and Li-Jung (Eva) Chen on photogrammetry to construct a 3D human face mesh model using phone camera images
Took photos using smart phone of human faces and processing them with an custom image pipeline coded in C++ before using Meshroom to generate 3D face meshes using the images
Assigned by Professor Chiou-Shann Fuh to improve the reconstruction results of his conference research paper on Reconstruction of 3D Solid Ball by X-Ray Image by Professor Chiou-Shann Fuh and Yu-Yan Li
Managed to generate improved image quality from sinogram project data using the Python Sci-kit Image Library for implementing Simultaneous Algebraic Reconstruction Technique (SART)
