More than just the daughter of Admiral Tom “Iceman” Kazansky, Crystal is also a woman that goes after what she wants. Following her father’s footsteps, Crystal enlists in the Navy and is later selected to the Top Gun program, graduating as the top of her class, just like her father.

Her callsign is “Icebreaker” because people say she’s the only one able to break her father’s composure while flying. Crystal is also known as a very easygoing person that is able to get out of any situation with a smile and a snarky remark.

She has an older brother that is a civilian engineer and also a couple of nephews. Maverick is her godfather and her mother partially blames him for her addiction to speed and choice of career.
