[2025.8.13] We are pleased to accept Farah Aiman Hazirah binti Mantasan, Arsyad Hisham bin Bahrul Hisham, and Muhammad Rabbani Alimi bin Mohd Zamadi as International Internship Student Trainee at the Tanaka Laboratory, Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo from July 21, 2025 ot October 10, 2025.
[2025.8.9] Together with my collaborator, Prof. Karen from Providence University, Taiwan, I had the pleasure of attending the 21st Power System Engineering and Technology (PSET 2025) Conference, held from August 4 to August 8, 2025. The event was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with experts in the field and to stay updated on the latest advancements in power systems and sustainable technologies.
We presented our joint research findings during Session ET0461, receiving insightful feedback and engaging in meaningful discussions with fellow researchers. The conference proved to be a fruitful experience, providing new perspectives and inspiration for our ongoing work.
We are grateful to the organizers for hosting such a well-structured and informative event and look forward to future collaborations and conferences.
[2025.8.7] Had the pleasure of attending the Workshop on Mathematical Biology 2025, held from July 30 to August 8, 2025, at the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) in Hanoi. The event brought together researchers and experts from diverse fields to explore cutting-edge developments at the intersection of mathematics and biology. It was a fruitful experience filled with insightful talks, engaging discussions, and valuable networking opportunities. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate and look forward to future collaborations stemming from this enriching event.
[2025.7.31] I had the pleasure of visiting the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, from July 16 to July 30, 2025, upon the kind invitation of Dr. Mohamed Salem as part of our ongoing international collaboration titled:
“Enhancing EV Charging Efficiency and Sustainability through Advanced Battery Management and Thermal Control: A Japan–Malaysia Joint Research Project.”
During my visit, I had the opportunity to tour and engage with both Dr. Salem’s and Dr. Ooi’s laboratories, where I gained valuable insights into their ongoing research activities. I also conducted a workshop with students and researchers, which led to fruitful discussions and the exchange of new ideas relevant to electric vehicle (EV) technologies and sustainable energy solutions.
It was a highly rewarding and productive visit, and I am grateful for the warm hospitality and collaborative spirit shown by the USM team. I look forward to continued partnership and joint research activities in the near future.
[2025.7.22] Had the pleasure of connecting with the Propassion team from the School of Media and Communication, Taylor’s University, led by Dr. G. Manickam Govindaraju. It was a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas and reflect on shared interests in media, communication, and academic collaboration.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Manickam and her team for their strong support of the symposium, particularly in the area of publicity and outreach. Their efforts greatly contributed to the visibility and success of the event. Looking forward to continued collaboration in future MJAA activities and academic initiatives.

[2025.7.11] I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Consular Section at the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo, especially Mr. Anwar, Mr. Farriq, Ms. Oikawa, Ms. Yokoyama, Ms. Ikegaya, and the entire dedicated team, for their patience, professionalism, and kind support throughout my son’s citizenship application process, now it is approved!
From our initial application in 2015 to the successful outcome nearly a decade later, the team has consistently demonstrated understanding, responsiveness, and empathy during this long and emotional journey. We are deeply grateful for your assistance, and I sincerely appreciate how well the Embassy serves Malaysian citizens living in Japan. Terima kasih banyak!
[2025.7.10] On July 10, 2025, we had a productive meeting with the Human Resource Division at the Embassy of Malaysia in Tokyo to discuss preparations for the MJAA Symposium 2025. Key topics included outreach strategy and participant engagement, as well as financial transparency and the legal registration of Pertubuhan MJAA in Malaysia. We sincerely appreciate the Embassy’s valuable guidance and continued support.
